Nellie is also survived by granddaughters Jineane Payne of Vancouver, BC and Cheryl Payne (and her children Briana, Ryann and Silas) of Port Alberni, BC; great-granddaughter Stacey Illingworth of Edmonton, AB; great-grandsons: Lindsey Porter of Battleford, SK and Cayden Parenteau of Lloydminster, SK; sister, Kate Tkatchuk of North Battleford, SK; sisters-in-law: Ann Starycki of North Battleford, SK, Sandra Babish of Regina, SK and Gladys Babish of Thunder Bay, ON; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nellie was predeceased by her mother, Anna (Grys) Starycki (1961), father, Alex Starycki (1963), husband, Philip Babish (1985), son, James (Jim) Babish (1983), granddaughter, Sherileen (Sheri) Illingworth (1990); brothers: Mike Starycki, Walter Starycki, Steven Starycki (at the age of 4) and Stanley Starycki; sisters: Hannia Starycki (at the age of 3 months), Helen (Starycki) Tarchuk and Mary (Starycki) Panas; brothers-in-law: John Tarchuk, Dick Tkatchuk, Andrew (Andy) Babish and Alexander (Allan) Babish; sisters-in-law: Helen (Harbuz) Starycki, Sylvia Starycki and Nadia Babish. Panakhyda - Prayer Service was held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and Divine Funeral Liturgy was held Saturday, February 16, 2013 - 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Vladimir Simunovic Celebrant ; both Services from Ukrainian Catholic Church Of All Saints, North Battleford, SK. The Cross Bearer ~ Stacey Illingworth; Epistle Reading ~ Gloria Babish; Eulogist ~ Wilf Nordick. Music Ministry was Cantor & Director ~ Mrs. Ann Prystupa and All Saints Church Choir.
