ASCHER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John William Ascher, late of Fairholme, SK on May 10, 2013 at the age of 67 years. John was born on March 18, 1946 at North Battleford, SK. John is survived by his wife Hildegard; his son Chad Simon Erich Ascher; stepson Fred Robert Krywchuk (Lori): Joseph and Jesse; stepson Thomas Edward Krywchuk (Rose): Randy and Kirsten, stepchildren Desi, Theresa, Ben, Jerica, and Ace; brother Bob (Darlene) Ashauer: Bob Jr. (Marlea) and children, Shanda (Andy) Ozust and children. He is predeceased by his parents Simon and Mae Ashauer, and parents-in-law Hilda and John Mettern. Graveside Service was held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Fairholme Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Thomas Edward Krywchuk, Fred Robert Krywchuk, Chad Ascher, Mike Malloy, Andy Ozust, and Bob Ashauer. If friends so desire, donations in John's memory may be made to The MS Society or the Riverside Health Complex.
