ANDRUSHAK, Timothy Paul, 1922 - 2013. On Monday, February 18, 2013, Timothy Paul Andrushak, surrounded by the love of his family passed away in Royal University Hospital at the age of 90 years. Timothy 'Tim' Paul was born on April 16, 1922 ninety years ago to Nicola and Peklia Andruschak in the town of Whitko Nowy, Poland, and was the older brother to his sister Sophia. The Andrushak family immigrated to Canada in 1930 to the Rabbit Lake district in Saskatchewan, where they farmed. Timothy served with the Airforce as a mechanic and flight controller for numerous years until he retired. During this period Tim traveled extensively with the forces. In 1950, Tim took over farming from his dad after retiring from the Airforce. He also was a seasonal worker as a farm hand and jack-of-all trades. Tim enjoyed his many years in retirement and lived life to the fullest. Left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews, Danny Marchewka, Nancy (Richard) Demyon, Ken (Karen) Marchewka; great nieces and nephews, Amanda (Marcel) Wouters, Adrianna and Kelsay Marchewka, Kendra Patterson, Brandi and Brittany Demyon; great-great niece and nephews, Ryley, Jenna and Drake; extended family, Bob (Juliette) Tokar, Raymond Tokar, Charlene Tokar, Sharon Tokar and Elaine Marchewka. Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Nicola (1992) and Peklia Andrushak; sister, Sophia (1988) and her husband, Paul (1975) Marchewka; his longtime companion, Helen Tokar (2011); niece, Sally Marchewka (1967); and nephew, David Marchewka (1998). The Divine Liturgy was held at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George, 214 Avenue M Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Saskatoon on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with celebrant Very Rev. Fr. Janko Kolosnjaji.
