Friday in Spiritwood, the Timberwolves led 5-0 after the first period and never looked back cruising to the 12-6 win over Paradise Hill. Shane Gopher led the offence with four goals and two assists, as Brad Doucette and Trevin Hujber also had six points. Lanny Fisher, Bryce Gatzke, Ryan and Tyson Turgeon and Marc Migneault all had one goal as well.

J.R. Bussiere was the winning goalie while Walker Duriez took the loss.

Marvis McClellan led the Hawks' offence with three goals, Dean Houston, Jamie Jeanotte and Neal Palen all scored once.

In St. Walburg, Aaron Goldade, Landis Hoffman and Taylor Thiessen all scored twice and Darren Delainey and Randy Larre scored once, as the Eagles beat Turtleford 8-5.

The game was tied heading into the third period, but three unanswered goals by the Eagles made the difference.

Kristian Sawyshyn was the winning goalie while Chad Terres took the loss.

Luke Zbaraschuk and Craig Mckee scored twice for the Tigers and Brad Macnab had the other.

In Wilkie, the Maidstone Jets and Outlaws battled right to the end, but it was the visitors winning 4-3. Curtis Sander was in net for the loss while Dustin MacDonald faced 36 shots for the win.

Maidstone's goals came from Brett Harrison, Vincent Jonasson and Ryan Johnston with two markers.

Mike Sittler scored twice for Wilkie while Tony Pernitsky had the other.

Wilkie hosted Spiritwood Saturday and cruised to an 8-1 win.

Nick Pernitsky earned the win while the line of Ryan Schaefer, Troy Watt and David Schell scored five goals and 10 points.

Brandon Basler, Rick Cey and Mark Lorenz were the other Wilkie goal scorers.

Hujber was the lone Spiritwood goal scorer.

Saturday, Turtleford was at home to Edam and pulled out the 4-3 win. Kris Bloom Jordan and Brad Macnab and Zbaraschuk scored for Turtleford while ONeil Baillargeon, Scott Manula and Ryan Roach answered for Edam.

With just 11 players, the Eagles went to Meadow Lake and won 7-5. Thiessen had a hat trick and two assists while Goldade had two goals and two assists. Kevin Nasby and Scott Thompson had the other goals for St. Walburg, as Sawyshyn earned his fourth win.

Meadow Lake's offence came from Darren Caron, Ray Esau, Matt Luster, Steven Spencer and Brendan Wasyliw. Rick Dallyn was the losing goalie.

Also Saturday, Maidstone was at home to Paradise Hill and thumped them 10-0.
