After two losses, the Maymont Settlers were back in action and on home ice Tuesday earning a 7-3 win.
The Settlers took advantage of a short Radisson bench and earned their fifth win of the season.
Shane Chicoine was the winning goalie while Nathan Wurst was saddled with the loss.
Kenton Albert led the Settlers' offence with two goals and three assists. Tyler Hubbard, Reegan Johnston, Mat Kessler, Tyson Poitras and Kinley Sevick scored singles for Maymont.
Kenton Haugrud had a goal and two assists for Radisson and Jonathan McIntosh had a goal and an assist.
Two days earlier, the Wheat Kings beat Saulteaux and it was Wurst earning the win.
Tyrell Jonescu scored twice and Corey Anderson, Dana Derowka, Payden Jonescu, Joey Mychan, Graig Poggemiller and Brad Wanner scored for Radisson in the 8-3 win.
Andrew Peyachew scored twice and Patrick McKenzie scored once for Saulteaux while Kyle Checkosis was in net.
The other game to report on was Dec. 30 and it was the Battleford Beaver Blues downing Saulteaux 12-6.
Todd Heck netted a hat trick and an assist for the Beaver Blues and Cody Bartusek had two goals and an assist, while Mitch Phillips had a goal and four assists.
Pete Chandler, Dustin Dmytryshyn, Dillon Friesen, Roddy Hoffman, Lee Ulmer and Mike Whitewell had the other goals for the Beaver Blues.
Jon Rose was in net for the win while Checkosis played for Saulteaux before being relieved by Gage Whittleton.
Dakota Tootoosis scored twice for the Three Stars and Frankie Moosomin, Denny Night, Peyachew and Taylor Willsey scored for the visiting team.
Radisson sit on top of the standings with a 6-3-0-0 record, Maymont are 5-2-0-0, Battleford are 3-4-0-0 and Saulteaux are 0-5-0-0.
