The North Battleford Comprehensive High School junior Vikings put together another strong effort and earned their third win of the season.

It came down to the second last play of the game, but the Vikings pulled out an impressive 18-12 win in Prince Albert Thursday.

Dion Tederoff scored all three of the Vikings' touchdowns. The first major was a 73- yard run. The second was a 42-yard run and the third included some trickery to pull out the victory. Trevor Payne caught a pass then tossed a lateral to Tederoff, who circled around for a 30-yard touchdown scamper with one play remaining.

The Vikings' win put them 3-0 on the season. The season ended when after one game was cancelled, they played three exhibition games and competed in the Prince Albert Jamboree. The prospects for the senior Vikings look to be a strong group of players.

On the defensive side of the ball last week, after allowing just 12 points, there were several players deserving recognition for their strong play. Dakota Stone and Bryan Hodgins laid the best hits according to the coaching staff of the Vikings. Grady Nash had the best tackle. The best quarterback sack went to Tanner Fraser.

Even the special teams had an impressive game, as the kickoff team attempted and recovered a short kick to start the second half of the football game.
