Edam and Eagles win twice

Nov. 10, Edam was in Wilkie and thanks to some great goaltending from Quinton Gauthier and some timely goals, Edam took the 4-1 win.

Joel Budd, Ryan Roach, Brett Jullion and Gil LaClare scored for the Three Stars while Troy Watt was the lone goal scorer for Wilkie.

Gauthier made 44 saves and Nick Pernitsky took the loss after stopping 23 shots.

Edam was on the road once more and won 7-4 in Paradise Hill. Jullion scored Edam's first three goals in the first period. Scott Manula scored twice while Brody and Ryan Roach had single markers,

Ryan Early scored twice for Paradise Hill and Tanner Helboe and Brad Naeth scored singles. Gauthier was the winning goalie again while Mike Kaltenborn was in net for the Hawks.

The Hawks also lost 8-1 to Turtleford on the weekend.

The Tiger also played twice on the weekend, and Friday they lost 8-0 to St. Walburg.

The Eagles' second win in two days came in Meadow Lake with a 7-2 win. The Eagles' goal scorers were Aaron Goldade and Darren Delainey with two each, Randy Larre, Jordan Fuder and Clarke Tavanetz with singles.

Chris Nault and Logan Gorst scored for Meadow Lake while Bryan Bridges earned the win and Sean McConnell took the loss.

There are seven games scheduled for this weekend.
