Crozon collects points, rebounds at international basketball tournament

Canada is in a pool with Turkey, Japan, Russia, France, and the U.S.The tournament started July 16, with Canada racking up a 1-2 record in their first three games. They defeated Turkey to start the tournament, but then lost to Japan and the U.S.Canada's fourth game was against Russia on July 20. Canada was leading 29-28 at the half, but fell behind when they couldn't handle the Russian's full-court press in the second half. Crozon played seven minutes in the game without scoring any points, but did manage to snag two rebounds.Canada's last round robin game was against France on July 21. The game started out close with the teams tied at 22 at the end of the first quarter, but France led 39-35 at half time and never relinquished the lead. Crozon played six minutes and collected two rebounds.On July 23, Canada played Argentina in a placement game, but lost 59-51. Crozon played seven minutes and scored six points.On July 24, Canada played Mali in another placement game. This time the Canadians came out on top with an 82-48 victory to claim 11th place in the tournament. Crozon played 20 minutes in the game, scored five points and collected eight rebounds.Canada finished the tournament with a 2-5 record.The U.S. won the tournament, beating France in the final, while China beat Belgium in the bronze medal game.
