Boys win Glaslyn soccer title

Oct. 4, the H. Hardcastle School Grade 5 and 6 class travelled to Glaslyn to take part in the annual elementary soccer tournament. The boys' team went through the tourney undefeated and once again returned home with the championship.

Oct. 4, the H. Hardcastle School Grade 5 and 6 class travelled to Glaslyn to take part in the annual elementary soccer tournament.

The boys' team went through the tourney undefeated and once again returned home with the championship. The girls, however, weren't as successful. They came in second in the round robin and fell victim to Paradise Hill girls in the semi finals. The Glaslyn girls captured the championship again this year.

The cross-country running team travelled to Little Loon Sept. 30 and came home with the following results. Peewee boys (59 runners), Ty Mosimann - gold, Blake Blais - fifth, Brady Deobald - seventh, Hunter Goodall - 17th, Trayton Poole - 23rd, Brandon Burgess - 30th, Ryan Bec - 33rd, Tanner Long - 35th, Anthony Seipp - 41st, Jamie Monteith - 45th; peewee girls (51 runners), Raina Cole - seventh, Macey Levasseur - 23rd; bantam boys (34 runners), Tyson Long second, Kade Mosimann - third, Mason Blais - eighth, Lindon Goodall - 21st; bantam girls (15 runners), Kesha Schaefer - sixth.
