The North Battleford Housing Authority and Battleford Housing Authority have announced the 2010 Yard Pride winners:
The housing authorities hold annual yard pride contests to celebrate and encourage excellent yard care.
Winners are celebrated monthly throughout the summer months of June, July and August.
A total of 42 winners shared $420 worth of monthly prizes in 2010.
At year end, grand prizes - first place, second place, and third place winners - are selected from the monthly winners. The 2010 grand prize winners shared $480 worth of prizes.
Erika Liebscher was the North Battleford Housing Authority's first place grand prize winners. In second and third were, Tim and Darla Henson and Robert and Shirley Coady.
The Battleford Housing Authority first grand prize winners were Greg Lavallee and Fern Holmes, with second and third going to Melody Payne and Sarah Lapawchuk.
