Washroom trailer opens at riverbank location in Saskatoon

The trailer will be staffed and will be open 24 hours a day until Oct. 31.

SASKATOON - A washroom trailer opened on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 315 Avenue M 麻豆视频, the site of the Central Urban Métis Federation office. The 24-hour washroom trailer will operate until Oct. 31.

The Saskatoon Tribal Council's Saw膿yihtot膩n Program will staff the washroom trailer and support Commissionaires who will staff the Kiwanis Memorial Park's north public washrooms.

In May, the city council approved the purchase of a used washroom trailer to provide staffed, all-day service for residents in need of access to safe, clean public washrooms in the Riversdale and Pleasant Hill neighbourhoods.

The council also approved funding to provide staffing at a riverbank washroom location and for extra public access to drinking water. Seven hundred thousand dollars was allocated for the project from the Capital Expenditures reserve.
