Walleye left to waste near Black Lake

Conservation officers are asking for the community’s help to identify those responsible.

BLACK LAKE — Conservation officers say they are looking for information about 17 walleye left wasted near Black Lake.

On Sunday, June 23, Stony Rapids conservation officers discovered the 17 whole walleye left to waste beside the road to Camp Grayling, near the Boneleye Drive intersection. The fish were likely dumped between Saturday evening, June 22, and early the next morning.

Officers are asking for the community’s help to identify those responsible. If you have information, please call the Stony Rapids Field Office at 1-306-439-2062 or the Turn In Poachers and Polluters line at 1-800-667-7561. You don’t have to give your name.
