Vintage cash stolen

A stash of vintage Canadian currency has been stolen from a rural residence in the Turtleford area. Turtleford RCMP say currency consisted of approximately 150 to 175, $20 bills from the 1954 series that were in excellent condition.

Turtleford RCMP say currency consisted of approximately 150 to 175, $20 bills from the 1954 series that were in excellent condition. The 1954 series $20 bill are olive green in with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front and a winter landscape of the Laurentian Mountains, Quebec on the back

The theft is suspected to have occurred sometime over the past year from a rural residence in the R.M of Mervin approximately 10 kilometers from Turtleford.
