EffectiveÌýTuesday, March 16 at 8 a.m., all remaining healthcare workers meeting the criteria forÌýPhase 1 eligibility are invited to book their vaccination byÌýCALLING 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.ÌýPositions that qualify within this category are listed on theÌý.
You will require proof of your eligibility in order to book. This should be provided directly to you by your employer. Please talk to your employer if you have questions. Booking online isÌýNOTÌýavailable for this category.
Reminder - Current Age Eligibility:
Starting today,ÌýMonday, March 15, COVID-19 vaccine booking eligibility has been expanded forÌýBOTH online AND phone system for individuals 70 years of age and older. You are encouraged to book on-line whenever possible.ÌýPeople meeting this criteria can book their appointment online 24/7 using their health card atÌý; or call 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
In addition, as ofÌýMonday, March 15, individuals 50 – 69 years of age living in theÌý Northern Administrative DistrictÌýare able to call the Vaccine Call Centre at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. to book their appointments.ÌýBooking online isÌýNOT available for this age group at this time. NOTE: Individuals 70 years of age and who are also living in the Northern Administrative District can utilize online booking.
Please remember that once your age category is eligible for immunization, you will remain eligible for booking from that point forward!
Patient Booking System Update:
- Since Saskatchewan’s new booking system launched, more than 51,000 individuals in Saskatchewan 70 years of age and older, as well as Northern residents 50+ have been booked for their COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 8,279 of those appointments have been madeÌýtodayÌý(as of noon).Ìý
- 41,403 or 80.8 per cent of appointments have been booked online;
- 9,846 or 19.2 per cent of appointments have been booked through the phone line.
Please remember: booking online is the fastest way to make your appointment, if you are able. It only takes a few minutes. Please try booking on-line first before making a phone call to the booking office. Friends and family can also help you use the online tool if you need help.Ìý
