Update: On March 16, Luke Cook was arrested without incident in Black Lake, SK. His first court appearance is June 1, 2021 in Black Lake.Â
Background:
Prince Albert RCMP request the public’s assistance in locating an adult male wanted in relation to sexual assaults, that were reported to police in December 2020. The assaults occurred in the community of Black Lake First Nation. As a result of investigation, Luke Cook, 21, from Black Lake First Nation is charged with:
-Â 2 counts, sexual assault, section 271 of the Criminal Code
-Â 1 count, sexual interference, section 151 of the Criminal Code
- 1 count, make sexually explicit material available to a child, section 171.1 of the Criminal Code
Following the laying of charges, a warrant of arrest was issued on January 21, 2021 for Luke Cook. Multiple attempts have been made to locate him. He may be in the communities of Black Lake First Nation, Prince Albert or Saskatoon but this has not been confirmed. He should not be approached.
