Update: Foul play not suspected - Missing teen found deceased on park island

UPDATE: The Saskatchewan RCMP has received several requests for updates in relation to the death of Jaxon MacDonald.

Through a joint investigation between the Saskatchewan RCMP and听Saskatchewan Coroners Service, pending final results of the autopsy and toxicology, preliminary indication is that no foul play is suspected in relation to Jaxon鈥檚 death.

These preliminary results have been communicated with his family and they have been kept updated with the findings.

While being mindful of the above, at this time RCMP do not anticipate further public updates in relation to this investigation.

BACKGROUND: Shortly before noon Tuesday, searchers located 15-year-old Jaxon MacDonald of Regina deceased on an island on Madge Lake. Madge Lake is located within Duck Mountain Provincial Park.

RCMP will not be releasing any further details at this time as the investigation is ongoing.

Jaxon was last seen leaving a residence/cottage on foot in the Jubilee Subdivision area of Duck Mountain Provincial Park around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday March 14. His destination was a residence/cottage in the same subdivision, not far away.

Around 100 people from Kamsack Detachment, RCMP Police Dog Services, Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, RCMP and Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers Search and Rescue Teams and the Kamsack Fire Department, as well as numerous members of the public, had been searching for Jaxon by land and air since Sunday.
