On Aug. 20 at approximately 9:30 p.m., police received a report of an assault where a man believed he had possibly been shot with something in the 1100 block of Avenue B North.

Arriving officers quickly located the injured man and observed injuries to his face and hand. Paramedics were called to further assess the man’s injuries. Bystanders told police the suspect was armed with a firearm and believed he had fled the scene.
