Two men facing drug-trafficking charges following seizure in Saskatoon

A 26-year-old man and a 44-year-old man are facing charges related to possession for the purpose of trafficking.

SASKATOON - Two men are facing drug-trafficking charges following a police investigation in Saskatoon.

On Aug. 30, members of the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT), and Tactical Support Unit (TSU) executed a search warrant at the 1800 block of Idylwyld Drive North.

As a result of this investigation, police seized the following items: $77,546 CAD; 5,385 grams of methamphetamine; 1,078 grams of fentanyl; 980 grams of carfentanyl; 515 grams of cocaine; and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

As a result, a 26-year-old man and a 44-year-old man are facing charges related to possession for the purpose of trafficking (x3), trafficking a controlled substance, proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of a controlled substance.
