SASKATOON - The trial in progress for a man facing a second-degree murder charge in Saskatoon has been adjourned to December.
The Court of King's Bench in Saskatoon confirmed Thomas Hamp's trial was adjourned on Sept. 20. The trial will continue on Dec. 17 at 10 a.m.
Hamp is facing charges in the death of 25-year-old Emily Claire Sanche.
Hamp is accused of stabbing Sanche. Saskatoon Police previously said they responded to a report of a stabbing on Feb. 20, 2022, in the 2700 block of Main Street East in Saskatoon where they found two people with stab wounds. Sanche later died of her injuries.
