The City of North Battleford has awarded a tender for the supply of tree maintenance services.
The tender was awarded to B & B Tree Service of Saskatoon in the amount of $23,097.90.
Tenders closed Oct. 5 and the bidding was competitive, with the three low bids all within $1,792.35. All bidders came from outside of the Battlefords.
The tender came in slightly over budget. The city had previously set aside $20,000 in its operational budget for the work, which will involve pruning 250 trees in 11 prioritized residential blocks.
