RCMP arrested two men and seized firearms and drugs following a traffic stop.
Aaron Chief, 39, and Zack Thomas, 26, both of Onion Lake were arrested.
According to Onion Lake RCMP, on June 5 at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle with an expired plate on East West Road in Onion Lake.
A small amount of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, drug packaging material, a scale, multiple imitation firearms, an illegally possessed and altered firearm and other weapons were found during a search.
Chief is charged with possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting/obstructing a police officer, three counts of failing to comply with release conditions, possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of property less than $5,000 obtained by crime.
 Thomas was arrested on warrants out of Lloydminster and taken there.
Chief made his first court appearance on June 7.
