Charges laid after investigation into mailbox thefts and more

SASKATOON - Three people are facing multiple charges following an investigation by Saskatoon Police Economic Crime Section (ECS).

On Sept. 11, the ECS with assistance from the General Investigations Section, Patrol and K-9 teams executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Russell Road in Saskatoon following an investigation into mailbox thefts, fraud, and identity thefts.

As a result, a 31-year-old Saskatoon woman was charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000, three counts of fraud under $5,000, five counts of identity theft, two counts of identity fraud and possession of stolen property.  A 41-year-old Saskatoon man is also charged with fraud over $5,000.

A 32-year-old man from Ile-A-La-Crosse was charged with obstruction, possession of a weapon, and concealing a weapon.

The ECS continues to investigate this case.
