NORTH BATTLEFORD - North Battleford fire department were on the scene of a major structure fire at a house on the 1600 block of Cousins Drive this afternoon.
Smoke was billowing from the structure as firefighters worked to put the fire out during the late afternoon.
There are few details yet about the extent of the damage at the scene, but the smoke extended into the area near Bready Elementary School. A portion of Cousins Drive up to and including 16th Avenue was closed off to traffic by community safety officer vehicles, with fire engines on the scene.
