Snowmobiler who fell through ice found deceased

A 40-year-old male drove a snowmobile onto the lake and fell through the ice

The deceased's family has been notified.

YOUNG LOON LAKE — On Nov. 18, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Big River RCMP responded to a report of a snowmobile that had fallen through the ice on Young Loon Lake.

Investigation determined that a 40-year-old male from the area had driven a snowmobile onto the lake and fell through the ice.

Shortly after, the male was located in the water and was pronounced deceased. His family has been notified.
