Battlefords RCMP are investigating a reported firearms incident from the early morning hours of Saturday, July 10. Shortly after 2 am on Highway 4 approximately 20 km south of Battleford, multiple rounds from a firearm were discharged from one moving vehicle towards another moving vehicle.Ìý
Both vehicles were south bound at the time of the incident. One of the passengers in the targeted vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries to his lower body and was transported to hospital in Saskatoon for treatment.
The suspect vehicle is described as a darker coloured Audi. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
