SHA: Gold Horse Casino sees increased risk of COVID-19

If you attended the Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster recently, you might need a COVID-19 test.

There's been a report of an increased risk of COVID-19 at the Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority says if you attended the Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster on the following dates, you should get tested for COVID-19.

  • July 20th – from 11:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
  • July 22th – from 11:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
  • July 23rd – from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • July 24th – from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
  • July 25th – from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
  • July 26th – from 5:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.
  • July 27th – from 9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

As per The Disease Control Regulations, all individuals who were in attendance during these times are asked to seek testing for COVID-19 immediately.

Exception: If you have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and the second dose was received on or before July 9, 2021, you should:

  • Self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 until August 6, 2021
  • If symptoms develop, start self-isolating immediately and seek testing
  • If you need to check your vaccination status, please call your local Public Health Office.

COVID-19 is a communicable disease reportable under The Public Health Act, 1994. Persons infected with or exposed to COVID-19 should take all precautions as advised by Public Health and all reasonable measures to reduce significantly the risk of infecting others.
