A Toronto man wanted for sexual assault of a young girl has been arrested in the Battlefords.
Kyle Fiddler, 21, of Toronto, turned himself in to Battlefords RCMP last Thursday, Dec. 1, at approximately 3:45 pm, according to a news release issued by Toronto's 54 Division.
Fiddler is charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference with respect to a four-year-old girl. He was to be transported back to Toronto and was due to appear in court in Old City Hall, Toronto, on Wednesday at 10 am.
Toronto police had issued an appeal for information on his whereabouts on November 25. The charges stem from activity alleged to have taken place between January and November of 2011, where it was alleged the man sexually assaulted the four-year-old girl in her home. A picture of the accused was also released.
