SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police are investigating two separate reports of individuals suffering from gunshot wounds in recent incidents.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on July 10, officers attended to a hospital in the 700 block of Queen Street after a man entered suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The 41-year-old victim was unwilling to provide officers with any information to continue an investigation. He was treated for his injury in hospital.
Later, at around 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the 100 block of Avenue V Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Again, the 24-year-old victim would not provide a statement to officers. However, police believe the suspect and victim were known to one another. The victim was transported to hospital by Medavie Heath Services West for treatment of his injury.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are investigating.
