A week ago, it was 183, or 15.1 new cases per 100,000 population.

Saturday, Dec. 12 was our all time high at 292, or 24.1 new cases per 100,000 population.

Our current seven-day average puts us in fourth highest place in Canada, behind Quebec, Alberta and Ontario.

All three of those provinces have higher rates of death than Saskatchewan. Quebec’s is one in 1,000, Alberta’s is one in 3,888 and Ontario’s is one in 3,006. Saskatchewan’s is one in 7,132.

British Columbia and Manitoba also have higher rates of death per 100,000 population than Saskatchewan, at one in 5,205 and one in 1,934 respectively.

Rates in the Maritime province and in the territories are significantly lower.
