A number of volunteers from the area were presented with awards at a recent banquet hosted by the Red Cross at Chapel Gallery in North Battleford.
Rose Benson was presented with The Order of the Red Cross. She has spent the past 30 years volunteering in many different areas with the organization.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to Gwenn Kaye, Audrey Reid, Iris Reiter, Marie Boutin and Doug Reid. Unable to attend, but also awarded with certificates were Kay Berry, Kirsten Samborski, Galen Loy and Madison Yurach-Picaluk.
A five year milestone was awarded to Reid, who also acted as master of ceremonies for the event.
