Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is attempting to notify staff of possible exposure to COVID-19 at Orion Dental Group, 4109, 70 Avenue, Lloydminster, Alta.
As in all investigations of COVID-19, close contacts of the infected person or persons are notified through a process known as contact tracing. Contact tracing is an essential public health tool in the control of COVID-19. The process of tracing the contacts of someone who has tested positive for the virus helps break the chain of transmission. When we are unable to identify all potential close contacts, we issue a notification to the public to assist with our efforts.
SHA’s efforts to work with the business to obtain a list of staff working at this office have been unsuccessful. Therefore SHA is asking all individuals who worked at this location anytime between March 8 and 11, 2021 to contact Public Health immediately at 306-830-6047, to also call 1-877-800-0002 to arrange a COVID-19 test, and to immediately self-isolate if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
