Police seek public's help after woman shot in Prince Albert

No arrests have been made, and the police continue to investigate.  

PRINCE ALBERT - Police are asking for the public's help after a woman was shot in an incident in Prince Albert.

On July 17, at about 10:20 p.m., the Prince Albert Police Service was dispatched to the 300 block of 9th Avenue East for a weapons complaint.

It was reported there was an exchange of gunfire between a vehicle and a home in the area.

When they arrived at the scene, police found evidence of gun shots being fired at a home. It was confirmed no one in the home was injured.

Then, at about 10:33 p.m., police were notified a woman was at the Victoria Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, consistent with a gunshot wound.

Police attended, spoke with the victim, and were able to locate and seize a vehicle involved in the incident.

No arrests have been made, and the police continue to investigate.
