Police looking for suspect after someone was shot at in Saskatoon

The firearm used in the incident is believed to be a CO2 pellet gun.

SASKATOON - Police are investigating following a weapons complaint early Monday morning in Saskatoon, after a person said they were shot at.

On Aug. 12, at approximately 2:10 a.m., police were called to 22nd Street West and Avenue I North for a report of a weapons complaint in progress. The person who reported the information stated someone had shot at them.

Upon arrival, officers located the victims sitting in a vehicle that had the passenger-side window smashed. The victims explained the incident happened while picking up someone from a home in the 300 block of Avenue I North.

Officers then went to the home and cleared it. The suspect was not located; however, a piece of a CO2 pellet gun was found. At this time, the firearm used in the incident is believed to be a CO2 pellet gun.

The Serious Assault Unit continues to investigate.
