Charges against a man accused of facilitating the activities of a criminal organization were stayed.
Raini Scott Henderson, 30, was arrested in May after a lengthy police investigation into organized criminal activities in Prince Albert and surrounding area. ÌýThe charges against Henderson were dropped in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Dec. 16.
Henderson, however, is headed to trial in Prince Albert Provincial Court in March 2021 on 31 weapons-related charges that were laid in November against him and his co-accused, Tara Anita Bird, 31.
In November 2020 Bird was also charged with accessory to murder after the fact in connection to the death of Dylan Chretien, 30, in 2019. Dylan was reported missing in November 2019 and his remains were found outside of Prince Albert on Dec. 4, 2019.
In September, charges of conspiracy to traffic controlled substances for the benefit of, or at the direction of the Terror Squad street gang, were dropped against Bird. She was accused of allegedly tossing drugs over the fence into the Prince Albert Provincial Correctional Centre for the Terror Squad.
