One new death is being reported Wednesday in the North West in the provincial government’s COVID-19 report. The death was on a person in the 60-69 age group from the North West zone.
The death bring the North West zone’s total fatalities to 78, as compared with 568 for the province.
The North West’s subzone 1 has six active cases, subzone 2 has 26, subzone 3 has 14 and subzone 4, comprising the Battlefords, has 14, for a total of 60 active cases, five more than yesterday.
There are six people in hospital in the North West and recovered cases are up another six from yesterday to 4,508.
