One new death is being reported Wednesday in the provincial government’s COVID-19 report. The death was on a person in the 70-79 age group from the North West zone.
The death bring the North West zone’s total fatalities to 77, as compared with 565 for the province.
The North West’s subzone 1 has four active cases, subzone 2 has 22, subzone 3 has 11 and subzone 4, comprising the Battlefords, has 38, for a total of 21 active cases, six less than yesterday.
There are eight people in hospital in the North West and recovered cases are up another three from yesterday to 4,508.
