The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has announced it is launching a new website that will help residents receive emergency information.
The new site at聽 will provide a single portal for fire and emergency information, prevention education and tools, current fire bans, and wildfire activity. It also includes a map that displays SPSA responses to emergencies.
Starting today, the current pages at聽听补苍诲听聽websites will automatically redirect to聽听..
"The site was designed so that residents can find emergency and disaster mitigation information quickly and efficiently," said Minister of Policing, Corrections and Public Safety Christine Tell in a news release.聽 "It will also be connected to the provincial emergency alerting system, SaskAlert, making it easier to follow active events."
"This is only the beginning, 鈥 Tell said. 鈥漈he new website will continue to evolve to meet the needs of Saskatchewan residents and the agency's stakeholders."
