One new death is being reported Wednesday in the North West in the provincial government’s COVID-19 report. The death was of a person in the 40-49 age group from the North West zone.
The death brings the North West zone’s total fatalities to 80, as compared with 570 for the province.
The North West’s subzone 1 has one active case, subzone 2 has 19, subzone 3 has eight and subzone 4, comprising the Battlefords, has seven, for a total of 35 active cases, two less than yesterday.
There are five people in hospital in the North West and recovered cases are up one from yesterday to 4,583.
