Two motor vehicle collisions on the weekend, both involving single vehicles, kept emergency personnel busy in the Battlefords.
The first incident was a rollover that happened around 3:45 pm on Saturday, August 14 at 35th Street in Battleford. Eyewitnesses say the vehicle completely flipped over, and WPD Ambulance reported that a total of three patients were transported to Battlefords Union Hospital with minor injuries.
The second call came at 7:53 pm for a car that drove off Thatcher Ave. near Anderson Pump House in North Battleford. One patient was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital with undetermined minor injuries. The RCMP and North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were on hand at that scene as well for about 25 minutes.
