A fuel leak was reported at a motor vehicle accident in North Battleford Friday night.
According to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services, the collision happened around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of 110th Street and 8th Avenue.
One of the vehicles involved sustained damage to the fuel tank causing a leak.
Fire department members stopped the leak by using a plugging compound, and a small spill of approximately five to 10 litres was cleaned up with sand by the City Works Department.
In total, four fire department personnel were on the scene for about 40 minutes. In addition to the fire department and City Works department, the RCMP and Lashburg Towing were also on hand. No injuries were reported.
