Saskatchewan Health Authority reports they will be open this week for more Drive thru Immunizations.
They will be open July 9, 10, 11Ìýbetween 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the drive-thru. It is located at 391-Yellowhead highway 16 west of the Battlefords.
All residents age 12 and over are eligible for first and second doses; there must be a minimum of 28 days between your first and second dose.Ìý
SHA also reminds residents that fully-immunized residents receive strong protection from COVID-19. They note that in June, approximately 81 percent of reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan were unvaccinated, or had their first dose less than three weeks before. For those fully immunized, that number drops to 1.8 percent. SHA is encouraging all residents to get immunized with both doses as soon as you are eligible to protect yourself and those around you from serious illness or death.
They also urge people to get tested even when experiencing mild symptoms. SHA is encouraging people to take advantage of the options available for immunization and testing, with booked appointments, drive-thru and walk-in clinics, pop-up clinics, and participating pharmacies.Ìý
