Money continues to roll in to the Credit Union CUPlex fundraising committee for the new multipurpose facility.
Two new announcements of sponsorships were made Oct. 6. Battleford Furniture announced it would be sponsoring the viewing area clock in the Northland Power Curling Centre as well as the pool clock in the Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre for a price tag of $10,000.
Logan's Audio Video will be sponsoring televisions in the Northland Power Curling Centre, Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre and the Field House, for a $15,000 commitment.
In addition to the latest announcements the fundraising committee has confirmed it is planning to make a major fundraising announcement Wednesday, Oct. 13.
So far $6.6 million has been raised towards the CUPlex project. Several levels of sponsorship are still available for the CUPlex, and monthly contributions to the project can now be set up as well. More information can be found at www.raisetheroofbattlefords.com.
