Meadow Lake RCMP investigate catalytic converter thefts, asks public to check home security cameras

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking anyone that may have personal security camera footage to check their footage and notify RCMP if there is anything suspicious over the weekend

MEADOW LAKE – Meadow Lake RCMP had two reports of thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles from March 8 to March 13.

Staff/Sgt. Ryan How said both vehicles were Hyundai Tuscons.

“It’s believed they were deliberately targeted,” he said.

The Meadow Lake RCMP are asking anyone that may have personal security camera footage on the 600 block of Centre Street to check their footage and notify RCMP if there is anything suspicious over the weekend.

“Unfortunately there is a significant time gap where this specific theft could have happened,” said S/Sgt. How.
