Man stabbed, group bear-sprayed in Saskatoon assault

As a result, an 18-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault (x3), and an 18-year-old woman is facing charges relating to assault.

SASKATOON - Two people have been arrested following a stabbing and bear spray incident on Saturday night in Saskatoon.

At approximately 7:10 p.m. on Oct. 26, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue R Â鶹ÊÓƵ for a report of a male who had been stabbed. Further updates stated bear spray had been discharged.

Upon arrival, officers located a group of people in a front yard suffering from the effects of bear spray. Shortly after, officers were able to identify the suspect in relation to the bear spray incident; he was then arrested without incident.

Upon further investigation, officers learned there had been an altercation resulting in the stabbing and bear spray being discharged. Officers then identified the stabbing suspect and she was arrested without incident. The stabbing victim was transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, an 18-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault (x3), and an 18-year-old woman is facing charges relating to assault.
