WASKESIU — Officials continue to investigate a water-related death on Waskesiu Lake July 14 at about 3 p.m.
A man was removed from the water by Waskesiu RCMP assisted by EMS and Parks Canada wardens. The man was declared dead by EMS at the scene.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has taken charge of the investigation.
As this is considered a sudden death investigation and there is no element of criminality, RCMP say they will not be releasing any further details including the names of the deceased or anyone involved.
