Man charged after report of firearm being pointed at another person

After searching the man, police found an imitation sawed-off shotgun and false identity-documents.

SASKATOON - One man is facing charges following a report of a firearm being pointed at another person in Saskatoon.

At around 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 28, police responded to the 100 block of Avenue W Â鶹ÊÓƵ for a report of a man pointing a firearm at another person. Arriving officers located a man matching the suspect’s description at an establishment on the corner of 22nd Street West and Avenue W Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

After searching him, police found an imitation sawed-off shotgun and false identity-documents.

As a result, the 25-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, and possession of false identity-documents.
