MAIDSTONE - A Lloydminster man is dead after a collision between a semi and a pick-up truck.
On Dec. 24, at approximately 7:45 a.m., Maidstone RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 17, approximately five kilometres north of Lloydminster.
The driver of the pick-up truck was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 24-year-old from Lloydminster. His family has been notified.
The driver of the semi did not report injuries to police.
Highway 17 was closed during initial investigation but has since re-opened. Maidstone RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
