The Kiwanis Lights Before Christmas contest committee has released the winners of the 2010 contest, giving Battlefords and area residents the high points to hit when organizing sparkle tours this holiday season. Marilyn McGown at 161 - 17th St.

The Kiwanis Lights Before Christmas contest committee has released the winners of the 2010 contest, giving Battlefords and area residents the high points to hit when organizing sparkle tours this holiday season.

Marilyn McGown at 161 - 17th St. in Battleford has dazzled her way to take the Tim Kite Memorial award after being awarded first place in the Best Residential category by judges Lia Provost, Matt Ryan and Bruce Lotts.

Best Christmas Tree Theme status goes to Debbie and Les Watch at 1462 - 93rd St. in North Battleford. Best Singular display is by Brad Marchewka at 352 - 27th St. in Battleford, but North Battleford has Best Block bragging rights, with the 1200 block of 99th Street getting the nod.

Best Commercial prize goes to Highway 4 North and most unique can be found at Andy Bonneau's residence at 1462 - 92nd St. in North Battleford.

Honour mentions, all in North Battleford, go to 8906 and 8908 Thomas Ave., 2222 - 95th St., 1022 - 113th St., 652 - 103rd St. and 2311 and 2321 Kildeer Drive.
