This is the aftermath of the blaze, as firefighters watched over the site once the flames were extinguished.

Deputy fire chief Colin O'Hara told the News-Optimist that the fire department was dispatched at 4:14 p.m. Thursday afternoon and fire crews were on scene until about 9 p.m. that night. They responded with two engines and 10 personnel that evening. The fire department was also on site for about an hour Friday morning.

The structure is considered a total loss. Most of the interior of the building was burned out and the roof had collapsed. The exterior walls were taken down and the base was removed in the morning on Friday.

There were no injuries reported; all occupants that were at home at the time of the fire were able to get out safely.ÌýÌý

Apart from the fire department there were two EMS vehicles and personnel, and RCMP and CSOs were on the scene, with part of law enforcement's job being to cordon off traffic and keep control of the number of spectators who watched the blaze.Ìý

The cause of the blaze is undetermined at this time.ÌýÌý
