An early-morning fire at G & C Asphalt has destroyed some heavy equipment at that property.
The fire took place around 3:20 a.m. Oct. 20, outside the business located on 10016 Fyfe Ave. The incident involved an asphalt packer that was located in the outside compound.
Two fire apparatus and five personnel were on the scene for almost an hour. The blaze was extinguished, but damage is estimated at about $25,000.
According to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services the fire is deemed unintentional. The damage was confined to the equipment of origin.
Also on the scene were Battlefords RCMP and WPD Ambulance. There were no injuries reported.
